Along The road is a brilliant butchers it is worth a visit.
There is a Public House called The Knavesmire and has lots to offer.
The Knavesmire is a great area for walking along with it being the race course and you will find lots going on.
In the mornings there is a coffee van on the Knavesmire so grab one and take in the view.
Buses run at the top of the street they are every twenty minutes.
Close to Bishopthorpe Road which hosts lots of Delis Restaurants Coffee Shops.

Moments from the Racecourse you will find Montrose House, be prepared for the wow factor , a real home from home .Once Through the front door, you have a spacious Front room that hosts sofas, a smart TV ,and a log burner for those chilly nights.The next room is an impressive open plan kitchen Diner, that has lots of seating. Everything you need to cook with ,and enjoy dining with friends or family. There is seating facing the big patio doors that lead to a wonderful enclosed Courtyard, and a downstairs toilet is off this room. Upstairs on the first floor are three bedrooms; one king-size two doubles and a main bathroom, on the top floor is a large bedroom that is a double bed with en suite.Downstairs enjoy the range of books and games.

All bed linen and towels are provided. Kitchen essentials including washing up liquid and tea towels are provided for your convenience along with an iron and ironing board
