Alexandra House can be found on the lovely Nunthorpe Road, only a 10 minute walk from the wonderful Ancient City of York and local independent shops, cafes and restaurants around the corner. This is a large 3 bedroom house, beautifully furnished with lots of space for guests to enjoy. There are 3 large Bedrooms and two lounge areas, one lounge will host a double sofa settee bed, there is an open kitchen with doors leading onto the enclosed garden, you will find one bathroom, one en suite plus a downstairs WC, Smart Tv and Wifi is included, parking is on the street with a permit that will be in the property.

Alexandra House resides by York’s city walls. A 10 min walk from the station and a 7 min stroll into the centre of York with all its cultural, historic, gastronomic & shopping delights. In addition Alexandra House is situated just off ‘Bishy Road’ that recently beat 230 contenders to be crowned Britain's Best High Street. Its packed with fantastic independent business to shop and eat. Here are just some of our favourites. The Pig and Pastry - for the best breakfast on the planet - make sure you try the breakfast burger, its amazing. Trinacria café for their fantastic home made Ice Cream - have to say all of them are my favourite.. Stanley and Ramona's - great coffee and a lovely outdoor space to watch the world go by If you want to cook dinner then you can't go wrong with supplies from Millys for great fruit and veg and M&K Butchers for fantastic meat and home made pies - and anything else you need can be bought from the Sainsburys local or Cost cutter that is open till late. If you fancy a meal out then Bishy Road has everything including British, Indian, Chinese and Italian restaurants - and all a 2 min walk from Cheery Tree House. But don't just listen to us..... Alexander House sits on Nunthorpe Road which is only a 10 minute walk from the Ancient city of York, In the area there are plenty of parks and open areas and around the corner from Bishopthorpe Road which hosts plenty of independent shops, cafes and restaurants. When you step through the gate of Alexander House you will find a wonderful seating area that catches the sun ,so please grab a drink and watch the world go by, on entry to the house you are greeted with a lovely hallway that then leads to the lounge that has a Smart Tv and luxury furniture to relax on including a sofa bed. The next room that is a big space which will host a settee, spacious dining area and goes to the open kitchen which has all the equipment to cook and eat with, the doors then lead on to a wonderful enclosed garden area that you will be able to relax in after a hard day of visiting York and our beautiful country side. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, family bathroom and one with en suite.The house is decorated throughout for a luxury home from home feel.

All bed linen and towels are provided. Kitchen essentials including washing up liquid and tea towels are provided for your convenience along with an iron and ironing board
